La lettura come condizione formatrice nei primi mille giorni di vita: riflessioni pedagogiche

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explore the role played by reading as formative condition in the first thousand days of life. Supported by educational research, cognitive psychology, neurosciences and brain research, it is intended to highlight that reading, in particular reading children’s book (fairy tales, stories, picture books and wordless books), is not merely a pleasant pastime, but an indispensable condition for young child’s intellectual, emotional and social maturation.
