Abstract

Self-direction in learning isn’t the application of a particular technique in the training paths, but rather the ability of the adults to carry out a critical reflection on themselves to decide if and how to guide their learnig or if and how to modify their life project. New technologies are a great opportunity to tackle such a complex task and the electronic Portfolio (eP) is a digital tool/environment that lends itself to this. This paper presents the procedures and outcomes of a research in which universitary students have built an eP that has produced self-direction, self-reflection, self-guidance.
