Abstract

This article aims to provide a general overview on the process of formation of the students/future teachers of Spanish Language and Culture, within the TFA experience (2014-15 edition). Special attention has been drawn to the theoretical frame and to the methodology of the different educational approaches in the last decades. After a recapitulation of the most important phases of such evolution, the article focuses on the specific experience of the TFA students, both in the first phase and at school during the apprenticeship. The main goal, in this respect, is to deal critically with the most important aspects of the TFA process without excluding the difficult moments in combining theory and the reality of the classroom.
