Abstract

The article analyses, within a theoretical, sociological and pedagogical framework, the potentials of self-education, learning and the creation of social reconnections present in certain movements, linked to responsible consumerism and different economies. A particular analysis is dedicated to the Italian experience of ‘Bilanci di Giustizia’ (Budgets of Justice) and their various practices, aimed at promoting a change in lifestyles, in particular a lighter promotion of the consumer’s interests focused more on human development and care of the living.
