Abstract

The paper deals with a reflection about the meaning and value that the meta-empirical dimension can assume in the construction of a fouded pedagogical science and able of taking into consideration, in an integral way, the different aspects that characterize the unrepeatable uniqueness of each human person. According to this aim, there has been studied in depth the role that the contribution of John Dewey and the educational sciences have had and have again in the contemporary pedagogical debate.
