La funzione docente nello sviluppo e nella promozione di una scuola inclusiva

Abstract

Inclusion is a process through which schools can develop their educational policies and contexts to include all pupils. Teachers play a central role in this process, they can become, according to ICF perspective, “barriers” or “facilitators” to the development of successful inclusive education. The paper suggests that, for this purpose, is necessary bet on the asset teacher reconsidering its roles, responsibilities and identity. One of the most important element is to improve teachers to deal with diversity in their classrooms.
