Cooperative Learning e lavoro: sinergia tra una metodologia e un contesto di formazione

Abstract

The article presents an application of the principles of the Cooperative Learning in contexts other than that of schools. The context here is the workplace where this methodology has rarely been applied. Cooperative Learning facilitates the achievement of learning objectives thanks to the importance given to interpersonal relations that bond members of a group. In its various aspects, this methodology is especially effective when dealing with a group of individuals who are required to collaborate and work together toward a common aim. Workers need to be guided in the common process of planning, elaborating and producing a final outcome by a valid methodology that can emphasize what each individual can bring to the table. Cooperative Learning focuses on positive interdependence, promotional interaction and social skills, with work assuming a formative role for all individuals involved in the activity, beyond that of a mere productive aim.
