Abstract

The group of experimenter teachers of Pietralba was born in 1948 as an initiative of Marco Agosti and Vittorino Chizzolini, the two editors of «Scuola Italiana Moderna». Agosti’s theory of «scuola integrale» represented for many years the breeding ground of a pedagogy of person, that inspired a new way of teaching and renewed the Italian pedagogical debate. In particular, it expressed an original form of Activism interpreted according to Christian principles.
