Abstract

Starting from a significant epistemological breakthroughts of the 20th, the birth of scientific and experimental pedagogy in Italy, the article explores the evolution of pedagogy with regards to the relationship among education, science and metaphysic. In particular, the article focuses on the role of influential metaphysic and mental experiment in the possible reconciliation between normative and descriptive in pedagogy.
