Abstract

The following paper is aimed at making an analysis of the main issues of Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi’s thought, from the perspective of the Christian loving kindness, in order to underline how this specific point of view had represented in Pestalozzi’s educational initiatives and pedagogical reflections a sort of “device” to promote a new idea of popular education, focused on the full development of each human being, starting from his/her domestic environment.
