I percorsi degli studenti con disabilità negli Istituti Superiori della città di Bergamo: la voce degli insegnanti
The presence of students with disabilities in mainstream schools has a long tradition in Italy. The objective of this research is to investigate this experience in four high schools in Bergamo. After analyzing the POF we prepared a questionnaire which was administered to the teachers. Then we realized in depth interviews and two focus groups with support teachers and school assistants. The analysis shows the importance of four key elements: the central role of the student with disabilities and his family, the co-responsibility between all the actors involved in the project, the vocational guidance and the role of the peers.
