Abstract

Introducing a theoretical and critical framing around some relevant issues concerning guidance, this work will explore the ways by which the concept of guidance can take its place in the interdisciplinary field of human sciences. After putting the guidance in the field of the human, the work aims at establishing a possible link between guidance and discursive human practices called care. Such a link postulates the need to consider the orientation as an end, not only as a mean and it introduces an ethical dimension. The latter is here examined starting from the type of rationality in place and from the discourse effects it may produce, as a bet about the dimension of unedited that is potentially at stake in every meeting concerning guidance.
