Per un sistema superiore dell'istruzione e della formazione. Ritardi, urgenze e prospettive
The paper discusses the different meanings of those terms: higher studies, academic studies, third-level education and formation, in order to identify their peculiarity. In particular, the author focusses on two models of third-level education and formation: the differentiated one (such as in California, UK and France) and the uniform one (such as in Italy). He analyses the limits of the current Italian model, to show the possibile benefits of a plurality of higher studies, not reduced to the academic ones.
