Un nuovo scenario formativo per il sostegno agli assistenti familiari
The phenomenon of the presence of family assistants, supporting dependent aged persons and their families, is in constant and rapid expansion in Italy. Starting from this evidence, the paper emphasizes that the work of the assistants cannot be restricted to tasks of care and assistance, but must additionally take into consideration the relational, anthropological and pedagogical aspects. These aspects must become part of the real culture of the person. Based on the above, the training of assistants, normally directed to the technical side of the profession, must be integrated and enriched going deep into these aspects.
